Surface Scanner

Surface Scanner is a futuristic shooter modeled after Defender. The player is controlling a spaceship trying to defend humanoids on a planet's surface from attacking aliens. The game scrolls left and right depending on ship movement, but it can also stand in one place. At the top of the screen, a scanner is located for tracking actions that are outside the player's view. In the beginning, there are two types of enemies, one of which is able to kidnap humanoids. If successful, a humanoid is transformed into another type of enemy. Other aliens may appear after the player is able to defeat the first waves of attackers. Aside from a standard shot, it's also possible to use a smart bomb which clears the screen.
