The Fallen Angels

aka: Daraku Tenshi
Moby ID: 67522

The Fallen Angels is a 2D one-on-one fighting game, it's art design resembling to some extent the Kings of Fighters series. The game's background story places the action in the dark, near future ("2000" - as the game was made in 1998). The goal is the same as usual: the player must defeat an opponent in a fight with punches, kicks, throws and several special moves. The gameplay is more realistic compared to SNK or Capcom fighters of the time, forgoing outlandish comic-like actions. Only three of the 10 (eight playable, two bosses) characters can use projectile attacks - Cool (feather concealed darts), Harry (wrist rockets) and Trigger (dual guns), the fireballs and similar moves from other games are missing.
