Skylanders Giants: Gill Grunt (Series 2)

Gill Grunt is a Water Element character figure for the game Skylanders Giants. A gillman soldier with a lust for adventure, Gill Grunt met a mermaid on one of his journeys, and has sworn to return to her again when he's done travelling. When he returned, he found out that pirates had kidnapped her; he has been searching for her since. Once placed on the Portal of Power, Gill Grunt will become the player character. He fights using his harpoon gun and water hose. This Series 2 version of Gill Grunt has a new look, improved stats and a new Wow Pow ability that can be acquired in-game, and it can reach level 15. These Series 2 bonuses are not in effect in games prior to Skylanders Giants, nor with the original Gill Grunt figure.

Series 2 Gill Grunt was also released in a three-figure pack with Series 2 Double Trouble and Flashwing. A metallic green variant (that starts at level 5 and has some gold included) has been distributed in Australia for the 2013 EB Game Expo and on other occasions at Toys"R"Us, and has eventually reached the store's shelves.
