Bag It!

Bag It! is a puzzle game based around ordering items in grocery bags. The game is split up into different aisles with multiple levels for each, and each aisle represents a different game mode. Most of the screen is taken up by a grocery bag. The available items appear near the top of the screen from the left. Players tap and hold to select an item and then drag it into the bag. It is also possible to drop them from a height, but this has consequences for possible items below. Generally the goal is to fill the bag with all the items by ordering them properly and avoiding crushing the lowest items. For instance, a carton of eggs or a bag of chips shouldn't be placed below a watermelon as they will be crushed. Since multiple items appear at once near the top, the player can choose a strategy, but once placed inside the bag items cannot be taken out again. It is however still possible to rearrange the items inside the bag itself. Items can be rotated by grabbing them and tapping somewhere else with another finger. Once the bag is full, there is a short section where the accelerometer is used to move the bag left or right to slightly shuffle it and for a good score no items can be crushed for that short time. Broken items are often punished with strikes (with a maximum of three).

Up to three stars can be earned per level along with smaller achievements for completing certain objectives, such as keeping similar items together or breaking nothing. Stars are needed to unlock new aisles. Each aisle puts a twist on the default concept. For instance in Ultimate Bagger there is a time limit and in Rampage the goal is to crush as many items as possible. The puzzle mode is slower than the other modes as there is very little room for empty spaces once all items are inside. In Frankenfizzy mode Fizzy is introduced as bottle of soda. The player needs to watch out not to shake it too much or the bottle explodes. In Seedy's Booty items need to be matched to collect coins and buy power-ups. There are also three endless modes.
