The Cannonball Run II
Description
Based on the movie, Cannonball 2 is a top-down racer in the vein of Spy Hunter or Road Fighter.
The race goes across the North American continent, from N.Y. to L.A., as indicated by a map to the right of the road view. There, you also see remaining cars, how much time has passed and current speed. Apart from having to avoid other cars on the packed roads, you must refuel at times, which is done by driving up alongside trucks marked "gas". At times, a plane comes flying by to the left of the road, trying to shoot you down.
The PC88 version comes with source code in BASIC.
