Throne Together

Throne Together is a puzzle game where the player has to construct castles by placing various blocks on the screen. Blocks in different shapes appear at the top of the screen and the player clicks on them to drag them onto the scene where they can be connected with other already placed blocks. Blocks have a maximum amount of weight that they can handle and if too much weight is added they will break. Prepositioned on the screen is a throne and all blocks have to be connected to it or else they won't be worth anything. The player scores points for every block attached to the structure and bonuses are given if there are no cracks and if there are any enclosed spaces. The score given for each block depends on its shape. Extra points can also be earned by placing special blocks like doors and windows. Each level is completed by fulfilling one or several goals. There are six types of goals: filling a castle outline, reaching a certain size, connecting over a river, reaching crowns that appear at certain locations, reaching a score and building a specific sort of block.

Various boosts can be used in the game. Two of these, cement and scaffolding can be used during gameplay. Cement patches an area of the structure, strengthening it and fixing its cracks while scaffolding gives extra support to castle parts. Three are also three boosts that can be activated before a level and will then give the player blocks with special abilities. The support block takes weight off adjacent blocks while the ghost block can be moved through other blocks and the change block can change shape when not moved. The boosts are gradually unlocked and can be used a few times before more have to be bought through in app-purchases.
