After a very brief animated introduction the game's start screen is displayed.
This is the first of three pages of in-game instruction
Each of the AI opponents has a brief biography
The start of a game Each player has the same number of cities and the same number of points
Adding a nuke or a peace initiative to a city costs five troop units so these actions can only be used later in the game
In the early stages the only actions that a player can undertake are propaganda and attacking with troops
The USA has launched a successful attack
Not all actions are successful. Here an attack has failed, sometimes a propaganda campaign fails and the player loses civilian units
As a player loses points their cities become less prosperous and their icons change
A peace unit has been added to a city. These units are a defence against a nuclear attack
Saddam Insane has lost two cities and those that remain look weak. Time to move in for the kill
Saddam Insane has been nuked out of existance
When a player is eliminated their icon changes
Here the presence of peace units has prevented a devastating nuclear attack
Game Over Beaten by the combined might of the USA and Iraq
There is a high score table but only winners get to put their name on it
Are we missing some important screenshots?
