Doritos Crash Course 2
Description
Doritos Crash Course 2 is a wipeout style free platforming XBLA game and sequel to the 2010 game Doritos Crash Course.
Main gameplay is the same as its predecessor. The player controls his own Xbox Live avatar in the 2D game. The player must run an obstacle course and complete it as quickly as possible and without failing. The player is able to jump, run, sprint, slide and duck.
Every course is different and requires a different approach. Levels may include obstacles such as fans, gaps, giant hammers, swinging ropes, etc. Levels are bundled together in certain areas, with different themes, including a pirate themed area.
Every level has its own leaderboard. As in, every level may require a different time to beat. Bronze, silver or gold medals are awarded to a player based on their performance. If a certain section is missed several times, it can be skipped but the player is called a chicken instead of being awarded a medal at the end.
Every level has a set of coins lying on the course. Some may only be collected by first buying different shortcuts or other paths with coins collected on earlier levels. These coins are used not only to unlock shortcuts, but also new levels.
