PlayStation 2 screenshots
The game's title screen After a couple of screens of safety information and the usual company logos the main menu is displayed
This screen selects the game mode Up/Down on the left joystick scrolls through the choices of dancing, karaoke, juke box, display credits and game configuration options
There are two dance modes, Tournament and Party In Tournament mode two players go head-to-head while in Party mode players take turns
Tournament Mode After entering the difficulty level and player's names the next step is to select the artist/song This is controlled by the left up/down keys
Tournament mode is a head-to-head game and needs two controllers
Arrows with numbers on indicate the length of time the player should hold on to the arrow
Party Mode is a single player game
Party Mode These are Forfeit Balls. Not catching these causes the arrows to misbehave
The yellow stars when an arrow is caught are most gratifying. The score in the lower right is not displayed constantly, it just pops up every so often
Party Mode This player's turn is over and the stats are displayed for other players to see and to try and beat
This is one of the configuration options It allows the player to map dance mat areas to controller buttons
Here the player is about to initiate Jukebox mode This allows the player to select and practice any track
Jukebox Mode plays just like Party mode but without the forfeit feature
In Jukebox Mode the player does not need to enter their name - unless they get a high score of course. In Party and Tournament modes names are entered at the start
Karaoke mode lets the player sing along to the tracks, this is Blue's 'All Rise'
The Dance Recorder function is not locked It looks no different to any single player screen, the difference being that player's steps are recorded rather than recorded steps being played
