In Stroke Play and Match Play modes the player can choose between the three courses In Tour mode there is no choice

There's no flyby view of the course or of the hole, just a picture pointing out a few features as the game loads

The game is played entirely with the CROSS This shows the shadow image of the backswing CROSS must be presses when the player reaches that point of their stroke for a perfect shot

Things don't always go to plan

The game plots the path the ball should take automatically

Timing is everything. Press CROSS at just the right point of the backswing, or right at the moment of impact and the game will give you a 'well done'

Playing a Stroke Play match At the end of each hole the game shows the scorecard. The same format is used for a Match Play game but symbols are used to show holes won, lost and tied

This is quite rare but sometimes in the game when the characters are on a slope their stance is very odd

In order to play in the tournaments the player must qualify as a professional. This means completing a Pro Test match and finishing well

Players must finish well in the Pro Test game to qualify for the Tour matches. In addition to the regular scoreboard a Leader Board which is also used

Games can only be saved when playing in Tour mode
