PlayStation 2 screenshots

The game is officially licensed by all these bodies.

The game is sold as a UK game but still supports these languages

The main menu.
Until the player has progressed through the game all the bonus features are locked
thumbnail
Bonus features
These give the player access to additional stadiums, Balls, Teams, Kits and Game Effects. All of these features are locked until a specific goal has been achieved
thumbnail
There are several controller screens as the buttons have different uses when in freeplay, with and without the ball, in a maul, in a ruck, in a line-out, in a scrum, kicking or taking a conversion
thumbnail
In the Challenges the only Classic Match that is unlocked at the start of the game is the 1956 New Zealand vs South Africa match
thumbnail
The definition of the Hot Potato challenge
All challenges have a summary / explanation screen like this
thumbnail
This screenshot shows t he quality of the game graphics. It's the preparation for a kick off and comes from an animation that runs if the game menu is left alone for too long
thumbnail
Starting a friendly match.
There's an aerial view of the ground followed by the squad listings. All these names seem to be the genuine Bath team from 2006
thumbnail
Part way through a game and this, I think, is a maul
thumbnail
A game can be paused allowing the player access to statistics and team management options
thumbnail
Career Mode starts with selecting a team to manage.
The default team is called Warriors but can be customised before the start of the season
thumbnail
In Career mode it seems as though the players are ficticious
thumbnail
Player stats for one of the fictitious players found in Career mode. Plenty of room for improvement here
thumbnail
In Career mode the player does manage the club finances but not to the same depth as in a full-on management sim. For example there's no starting balance, advertising revenue or wages here
thumbnail
The opposing teams in Career mode use real names. Benetton Treviso are Italian and Bristol Shoguns is the name used by Bristol Rugby in the 2001-2 season when they were sponsored by Mitsubishi.
