Stone Raider
Description
Stone Raider is a game inspired by Boulder Dash. The player controls a character through different single screen environments linked together. The character can dig into any direction to collect hexogems, but needs to avoid the boulders that can crush him. The game has a time limit and a certain number of hexogems needs to be found in order to complete the level. Two lives are provided at the start and the game keeps track of the score. Unlike the original Boulder Dash there are no enemies to avoid and crush.
Initially released as Stone Raider by MicroDeal, the rights were bought up by Talent Computer Systems and later RWAP Software. It was re-released as Stone Raider II. It is not identical to the 1986 Dragon 32/64 / TRS-80 CoCo game of the same name.
