Description official description
YASS is a horizontally scrolling shoot'em up. The player uses one of five space ships and shoots a lot of other space ships. Before reaching a new level, a boss fight needs to be won. Some of the killed enemies leave behind health, shields or weapons which replace the currently equipped one if picked up. Being hit too often by enemies or their projectiles results in a life loss. The exception are meteors which frequently fall from the top of the screen: touching those is instant death. The game features three difficulty levels, an online high-score list and four-player co-operational play.
