AstroRaid

AstroRaid is a fixed-screen shoot 'em up game, where the player controls a spaceship and must defeat wave after wave of enemy ships and asteroids. The ship can be controlled with the mouse. Getting hit by enemies drains the ship's life bar, and the player loses a life when it runs out. Initially the player begins with a weak basic gun and a handful of rockets; the gun has infinite ammo, while the rockets, though powerful, are in limited supply. Defeated enemies sometimes leave behind power-ups that e.g. improve the ship's gun, restore life points, or give a bonus life.
