Great Game, and great story

The Good
I never seem to get bored of playing this game, while it is somewhat primitive, it still is amazing. At the time, this game had advanced graphics, catchy music, and a good storyline.

The Bad
Its primitive programming. Perhaps it was limited memory, but its hard stopping on time because you want to stop while Mike is still moving, but he sometimes will move when you dont want to, also turning sharply makes him stop then move again, this makes Captain Bell's bowling ball's a real pain sometimes. Also you can only shoot in 4 directions, while monsters can shoot in 8 directions.

The Bottom Line
Although its battle programing is a bit flawed, it is still a great game to play.

A tropical adventure and a great game.

The Good
The graphics for this game still look great after 16 years, Nintendo didn't skimp when they made this gem. The music is catchy and uses perfect mood music when something dramatic happens. There is quite a variety of items/weapons that you will use throughout the game and a lot of the game requires that you use them rather than have them sit in your inventory. One of the best things about this game is that each chapter has you doing something that relates to the story while keeping the gameplay fresh and unique.

The Bad
Your character will sometimes jump straight in the air rather than in the direction you want him to for some reason and while this isn't a problem in most cases, this can sometimes me the difference between life and death. While most of this game could be considered easy to moderately difficult, there are two parts in this game which are extremely difficult.

The Bottom Line
You should pick up this game if you like action or platform games, try to get it with an instruction manual or get an online guide, your gonna need it!
