The best Czech game of the year 97´

The Good
You cannot simply write down, what was the best about this game. On one hand, there was good graphic, previously unseen in any Czech game before. There were rendered cutscenes, which also haven´t been in and Czech game before (and long after...) and there was a very good written story, that showed you, what to fight for, not just shoot&walk. The guru of this project, Jindrich Rohlík (former journalist, his latest release is "Brány Skeldalu 2" - 2004) put together a very good team, which was able to create the best Czech game of the year 97´

The Bad
First minus points are definitely for the animation of the main character. It was made just from two animations. And of course, there was also the problem of difficulty. We, people who have played this game will always remember the 12 seconds limit, in which you had to set the charges and RUN for the elevator. Another problem was associated with the genre of this game - 2D scrolling shooter. While you´ve entered the screen, it was highly possible, that you will be hit from behind with no chance to defend.

The Bottom Line
Bored already of the classic 2D action games like Alcatraz or Flashback? Would also like to check out the Czech game scene in the early stages? Try to find this game. The quality will probably surprise you.
