In the "Allies screen" you can trade with your allies and give them orders.

As usual in the Stronghold games, AI characters can send you messages.

The barracks is the European Unit recruit building.

Saladin is the strongest Arabic lord in the game.

You can press the default key "Space" in order to have a better view on the units you posess. This can also be useful when selecting units behind a wall (inaccessible without this trick)

By pressing the right mouse button, you can use 4 options. Variating from "Lower Ground" to "Zoom Options"

At the market place you can trade goods, but unfortunately, you can only sell/buy the goods. No exchange allowed.

Fire can be used as a great defensive force. But it can also be used as an even greater offensive force!

Assassins are the hitmans in the game. They are invisible for all units, excepting the case if they are close to each other.

Each peasant in the game has something to say to you.

A large castle is more difficult to defend...

The Crusader Trail is technically a campaign, divided in quite a lot of missions.

In the Map Editor, you can design and play your own maps.

In the Crusader Play menu, you can select to play either a skirmish game, or a Crusader Trail.
