Although the cover says only about Windows platform, the manual and files on CD-ROM confirm that the game was initially prepared for DOS system.The CD-ROM includes DOS and Windows files with separate installers for each platform.

Common misunderstanding

Kajko i Kokosz: W Krainie Borostworów is widely considered the Windows version of the Kajko i Kokosz adventure game released in 1995. Although both games share the same story and some of the artwork, they are completely different games. The first one is a classic adventure title, the second one digitized fairy tale with simple puzzle games.
