VideoWars
Description
VideoWars is a real-time strategy game. To players face each other with only one goal: complete destruction of the opponent. Each passing second the player receives money (the exact depends on the number of money signs in the owned territory) which is used to construct buildings and weapons; most importantly nodes which extend the player's area. Other things for sale are units (automatically move towards the enemy base when released), turrets (defend against enemy troops), bunkers or missiles (their zone of attack can be manually chosen).
Turrets can also shoot down enemy missiles, the but the has to intercept it manually by moving the cursor over it. Damaged buildings can be repaired and the six factions only differ in their super power, e.g. doubling the attack speed of the units. This power does not require money, but needs a minute to reload. The two available playing modes are skirmish (setting up custom matches against the AI or another player) an challenge (a single-player campaign against enemies of increasing difficulty). The options for skirmish are how many games (up to ten) are played until the overall winner is chosen, the map and the maximal game length.
