Did IT come from the desert?

Did IT come from the desert? is a first-person shooter inspired by Cinemaware's Mega Drive version of It Came from the Desert.

The game contains 18 levels divided over five episodes with different settings. There are five standard enemy types like green ants and antheads, and two boss enemies, the King Ant and the Queen Ant. All enemies can attack in melee range, and some can also attack from distance. The player can defend themselves with a flame thrower, which can be upgraded to a plasma gun in later levels. There are some extra items for restoring the player's health, keys to unlock doors, an item to make the player invisible for a short amount of time and coins which can be used to buy useful stuff in the shop.

The game is implemented as a total conversion of Gloom 3's game engine.
