FreeCell Quest

FreeCell Quest is a simple RPG that incorporated the Solitaire card game. The player explores the continent of Selvarin with the aim of liberating the numerous villages, towns and cities from an evil archmage who has taken over. Progressing through the game is done by exploring Selvarin on a map and battling at different locations, freeing them one by one if the player wins.

In typical FreeCell fashion, the battles are carried out on boards that feature different columns of cards that need sorting into goal cells by order of number and suit. Battles can be lost if the player takes too much damage from the cards that cast harmful spells, giving these cards more priority to be sorted over others. In turn, the player can buy armor to take less damage; the player can also level up and learn spells that provide helpful abilities in battle, such as shuffling columns and bringing specific cards to the front. After winning battles, the player gains money, experience and loot which will help them out in the later stages.

The player has the choice of eight classes with different class bonuses to take on over 500 different boards with unique card formations to sort out, getting progressively more tough and challenging.
