Terranon Worlds

Terranon is a fixed-screen shoot 'em up. The player controls a space ship and needs to survive enemy waves. The controls use the classic Asteroids scheme: the stick is used to rotate the ship and two buttons either invoke a forward or back thrust. The ship shoots forward, but only has a limited amounts of shots available. When they are gone, the player needs to wait to while before they recharge. Each time the ship is hit, one points of shield energy is subtracted; running out completely leads to the loss of a live.

Shooting an enemy rewards points which can be used between rounds to purchase ship upgrades, e.g. more ammo, more shield energy or additional lives. Additionally to the arcade mode, there are other game modes available: hard, freeplay, endurance or deathmatch (multiplayer).
