Description

Fullmetal Alchemist: Iron & Flame is 2D side-scrolling beat 'em-up game based on the Japanese comic and anime series Fullmetal Alchemist. In the game the player controls the brothers Elric. At the start of the game you are tasked by Roy Mustang to clear the country side of chimeras.

As you make progress you encounter numerous different enemies like beasts, stone statues and moving armour. In addition to kick and punch attacks you can also use various different transmutations (spells) like a cannon, hammer, giant stone hand and obstruction wall. These spells cost energy witch can be replenished by consuming pouches found in jars. Some fallen enemies drop health pills and slain enemies earn experience that let you rise in level. Spells come gradually available as you rise in level. Only one of the brothers can be controlled at one same time, the player can freely switch between Edward and Alphonse.
