Your campaigns begin now!
Intro video
Your first Mars mission begins... sounds easy enough.
Entering battle. Fighters are realistic in that they charge in for the attack and then turn away from harm before coming back in at the enemy.
View information about any ships or bases
Empire information can be very helpful as you plan your strategy
There are many research opportunities to choose from... so many that you cannot research everything in a campaign
The technology tree can help you decide what to research.
If you control a planet or moon, you can build ships and bases from it in the production manager.
This is a miner... use these to increase your income by mining ore from asteroids.
The starmap gives you the ability to easily move between locations and to easily find a target. The starmap is fully zoomable and rotatable.
Using a wormhole to jump into another system.
You can easily view what planets and moons are in each system in the top left (the second system shows 3 planets and the middle one shows one moon highlighted in green).
Colonizing a planet is done by sending a colony ship to a planet that is suitable.
If you have random events, something like this may happen. Having an asteroid hit your newly colonized moon would be bad.
When you complete a mission, you can bring a certain number of fleets and heroes into the next mission... choose wisely.
Each unit has its own radar range, shown on the map. Here are multiple overlapping radars.
Space Battles, such as this attack on a planet and it's defending forces, come to life in the 3D view.
The Scrap Recycler is similar to a miner, but wanders the galaxy recyling the metal from defeated space craft. Destroying larger enemy fleets makes more wreckage for it to recycle.
After the initial Earth or Mars campaign, humanity is united in the Sol System.
