The title screen
The story begins with an optional cut scene. These are the only places where the player's character is seen
The game has an optional tutorial at the begining
A typical hidden object scene
There are quite a few lock puzzles. This is a 'Simon Says' puzzle and there are one or two more in the same vein
The player is left in no doubt where the possible exits from a screen are. The cursor changes to a magnifying glass when there's something to investigate
Hidden object scenes always reward the player with an item
Despite initial appearances this is not the puzzler's favourite, a sliding block puzzle, but there is at least one of those further into the game
All puzzles have a 'Skip' option which is available when the red status bar is completely red.
The instructions at the top will disappear but can be brought back if required
A decent cog wheel puzzle
The puzzles aren't that hard but there is a pretty good selection
The sparkly areas alert the player to a hidden object scene. The sparkles are not present in Expert mode
There are one or two places where a recovered document is still in the developer's native tongue. Not to worry though the version in the journal is in English
Some of the clues are in diagram form and it's not always easy to understand them, fortunately the journal does a good job of explaining them
This is a novel puzzle.
All the bits needed are present in the scene
