Submachine 2: The Lighthouse
Description
In the Submachine series, the player explores a mysterious world full of collapsed structures and strange devices and has to find a way out.
In this game the player finds him- or herself inside an abandoned lighthouse and discovers that "Submachine 1" was just a game on an old arcade machine.
The storyline is developed further when the player finds more pages from a diary, which was already introduced in the first game. The goal is to operate a portal which was installed at the top of the lighthouse.

Game versions
Currently there are three browser versions available for playing: the unfinished "early sketch", the 2006 original version and the 2013 "revisited" version. The update introduces some improvement in terms of graphics: for example, while walls in the lowest sections of the lighthouse had a bright "red red" color in the original, later they have been changed to a more realistic brownish "brick red" shade, like in "Submachine 5". The system of "secrets" (represented as tiny red balls) has also been changed a little.
