DC Legends

Following an attack on Earth by Manhunters (a race believed to have been wiped out), the DC heroes find themselves in a battle of survival. After the revival of the Green Lantern, it is discovered that many of the heroes are trapped in the Void, and must be brought back. It is later discovered that a villain named Nekron is bring the Manhunter forces back, and wreaking havoc across the universe.

Players assemble a team of up to four characters, all from the DC Comics universe. These teams can consist of both heroes and villains. Each round the player completes actions to either hinder (by attacking or using special abilities) the opposite player (being either A.I. in the campaign, or another player in the arena), aid themselves by using shields or healing. Once the turn is completed, the opposite player is able to complete their actions. Turns are taken until either side has no more characters left on the team.

Various in-game items/actions are unlocked or replayed via various consumables. Heroes/villains are unlocked by finding the character's shards, which can be gained through gameplay, or bought via an in-app purchase. Playing a round in the campaign requires energy, and arena battles require arena energy. Using Speed Force allows for auto completion of battles. Gear can also be upgraded, but requires different consumables (usually found on certain levels or can be purchased).
