Pre-loaded flightplan, from EGLL, a short hop over the channel, bypassing France B-space and then into Spain for LEAL arrival.

Cleared for takeoff, and rolling.

In the air, and turning to capture a suitable fix. Gear is coming up, but I'll keep the flaps out during the turn.

Trident 3B: Virtual (3D) cockpit, one can look around but not touch anything.
thumbnail
Trident 3B has quite a smoky exhaust, but it doesn't show at night; here is a day image that shows the smoke.
thumbnail
A Trident 3B at dusk can make a pretty picture.
thumbnail
The Trident can dive quickly too, if one pushes the wrong buttons on the Autopilot. (I tried retracting the slats, which the A/P misunderstood - resulting in a dive and overspeed warning).

Trident 3B underbelly.

Trident 3B: Daytime view of the cockpit. The orange display and the center map are non-functional.
thumbnail
The Trident 1 & 2 cockpits are identical. Trident 3 has some extra controls for the 4th Boost-engine on the lower right and in the ceiling panel top right.

Trident 3B: Engineer's seat

A look into the cabin shows we have forgotten our passengers. Not to mention the stewardess, how shall we now get our tea?
thumbnail
Trident 3B: I hope these two guys in the cockpit know where we are going, because the A/P have lost its way.
thumbnail
Trident 3B: it seems I got the flaps/slats problem sorted, so at least I don't fly nose-up anymore; fixing that turned off the autopilot director, I guess it aimed for the moon.
