Messi Runner

Messi Runner is the official runner game of soccer superstar Lionel Messi.

The player controls Messi, who has to run through different locations avoiding obstacles and catching creatures called Monssis. The game is divided into 5 locations --Latin America, Europe, Africa, North America and Asia--, each one containing 10 levels. In order to complete a level and unlock the next one, the player has to complete a different mission in each level, like running a certain distance or time, collecting a number of items, defeating bosses, etc.

The character movement is controlled by swipe gestures. Tapping the screen makes Messi shoot a soccer ball that is used to catch the Monssis. There are also several combinations of swipes and taps to perform special attacks.

As the player progresses through the game, he earns virtual currency called Ballions, that can be used to buy different items in the in-game shop, like power-up upgrades and Messi Card Packs.

Messi Cards are central to the experience, they are collectible cards that unlock different variations of Messi. There are 15 different Messis to collect, with different rarities:

8. Messibot
9. Shaolin
10. Super Messi
11. The Flea
12. Messi Jones
13. Messi L1000
14. Suit up!

Some levels in the game require a specific Messi in order to complete the mission, and some levels require also a specific card level. Cards can be leveled up by collecting XP during the game, as well as by buying several cards of the same type.
