About to build a mill. The game plays very similar to Age of Empires II, but building the player's base is limited to the area marked with yellow stripes.

Our mining operation is attacked by some highlanders! (the demo level is super easy though)

Once a worker gains enough experience from continually doing a task, you can promote him/her to Master of that occupation, further increasing efficiency.

The camera can be moved very close to the ground, with a neat amount of detail sadly missing from earlier games having the same feature (yes, Empire Earth, you too).

King Edward has some kind of magic aura thing going on around him. And yes, he can cast a spell (using his magic points) called "torture".

If you played the Age of Kings such siege scene should be only all too familiar to you.

A close-up of an ordinary maceman during the assault on the highlander settlement. This zoom level is not very suitable to command troops but makes for some cool scenery.
