Color TV-Game 15V
Description
Using hardwired controllers, two players face off in Nintendo's take on the table tennis genre. The main objective is to bounce a ball off your paddle, and past your opponent's to score points. Unlike some of its 1970's contemporaries, Color TV-Game 15 allowed users to switch between a variety of game modes including, Tennis, Hockey, Volleyball, Ping Pong and "Shooting Game." While most of the games were very similar to each other, some such as Hockey, added obstacles that the ball could ricochet off of. Additionally users can adjust the speed of the game and the size of the individual paddles for a more customized experience.
Color TV-Game 15V is the second release of the Color TV-Game 15, following the Color TV-Game 15S. The 15V version can be identified by it's red color. The original 15S was yellow. Other than color there were some minor improvements. The size of the control nobs was increased slightly and they were modified to limited rotation. This was done to fix an issue with the first model where players could easily move their paddles off screen and get lost.
