Just like in Ultima games, there are also shops in this game. Their placement is quite random though, and the items being sold are not traditional.
There are also very rudimentary pseudo 3D dungeons in the game. They are obviously faked, and not actual 3D projections.
The game starts from an overworld map of Finland. The towns on the map are references to actual cities and towns in Finland, just with different names.
All the enemies drop gold, which you need to buy more food. If your food runs out you will die...
...And wake up from the castle of Lord Finnish. A not-so-subtle reference to Lord British.
The game has some NPCs which you can talk to. They either give you words to shout near the dungeons, or they're just there for decoration.
The controls in the game are similar to the old Ultima games from the 80's, using the whole keyboard as different commands.
If you can find the UFO ship in the game, you can cross lava and ocean tiles.
