Description
Kaissa is a Soviet chess program named after the Renaissance chess goddess Caïssa and developed at the Moscow Institute of Control Sciences. It won the 1974 World Computer Chess Championship in Stockholm and became second and forth in 1977 and 1980 respectively. The program uses a Shannon Type A strategy.
