This title screen is displayed while the game loads

The game will not launch if there is no anti-cheat system installed. Fortunately with the Steam download the installation files are in the Absolver folder

In game configuration options include Gameplay, Graphics and a toggle between on-line & off-line modes. Here they are accessed from the main menu but they can also be accessed in-game

Character creation<br>Phase one defines the physical characteristics and phase two defines the the combat style.

Having created and named a character t here's a short sequence in which that character is selected from a group of candidates, is taken to the golden guy who blesses/activates their mask

Tutorial: Once the blessed/activated mask is worn the player wakes up in the dusty hills and makes their way into a run down hillside village

Tutorial: The first task is practicing combat with statues

Tutorial: The second task is to take down these two slow moving zombie like creatures

Tutorial: The Combat deck is important. Here it is introduced for the first time and the player must practice against this statue before continuing

Tutorial: The player has earned their first attribute point and is instructed to press ESC and enter meditation

Tutorial: Pressing ESC also gives the player access to this equipment screen

Tutorial: Back in meditation, a new area has opened up and it's the player's Combat Deck. While in meditation this deck can be edited and practiced

Tutorial: Practicing combat moves while in meditation

Tutorial: This is the first person didn't have to fight. On the right the player's path of learning continues
