Richard Hammond's Top Gear: Interactive Challenge screenshots

The DVD starts with the company logos and then Mr Hammond arrives crashing his Volvo into a bus. Once he's said 'Hello' the title sequence with the Top Gear music begins.

In the Instructions section Richard Hammond explains the basics of the game i.e. use the DVD remote. He appears at the start of each round with more detailed, optional, guidance

In a two player/team game there's the option to select a team name, the single player game is always played as 'Billy No Mates'

Round One: Keep Your Distance All rounds start with a title screen like this then Mr Hammond appears to explain everything in detail

Round One: Keep Your Distance An example question. The player works their way through the car parts that stretch across the top of the screen trying to identify the vehicle

Round Two: Under The Bonnet Players are shown a fact about a car, that's at the top of the screen. They must decide whether the car at the bottoms stat is higher or lower

In between rounds players/teams are given their score for the round and their cumulative score

The Cool Wall: Players must decide whether the car is cool or uncool while avoiding the 'jeopardy car'

The Cool Wall: Categorising the jeopardy car incorrectly ends the round in spectacular fashion and wipes out any points scored in the round

The game is over. There's a brief picture of a naff trophy which explodes as does this picture

Some oclips are really memorable. This is Mr Clarkson saying "I haven't had a pee since Italy, the toilets at that end are out of order and at the other end are 43 coaches all wanting my autograph"
