Killing Floor: Incursion reuses character art from Killing Floor 2 for most of the enemies and the player's third person model. Many of the environments seen throughout the two games are also similar. This led to confusion among a small number of fans who initially thought Incursion was just an expansion or DLC to Killing Floor 2, and not a standalone title.
