Windows screenshots
One of ordinary levels. Because to the game's aquatic theme, the areas seem submerged in water, whether it's just relatively realistic seabed or something that could only be seen after a flood...
...except when they're not. ;) This level is actually above the water level and, with its generally bigger items, seems painted in a slightly different style.
Inside a circus - yup, that would only be possible after a catastrophic flood which quickly swept the circus grounds. But, on the other hand, are these games necessarily realistic?
Some items show little animation when they are touched with the mouse cursor.
Each background seems to have two different versions and I had a hard time choosing between the first and second variant of this background.
I think I liked this level background best, especially in the version with this shiny neon light.
One of the "Gold Rush" levels. Generally, they are easier than in "Hidden Odyssey": a bit less items (40-41 vs. 50) and they are usually slightly bigger and just more visible.
Some backgrounds just look best in the "Gold Rush" version - the items to pick up are more interesting than the ones in normal levels (most of them are removed for "Gold Rush" levels).
This may be another view of a cave seen before, but generally - I don't recall this particular view from any other level. Actually, the same applies to the "pre-previous" screenshot.
This background does appear in other types of levels, but again the "Gold Rush" items look best, particularly this decorative etui on the very left.
Here come the aquariums! The sheriff statue on the left is this level's trophy...
..The trophy for the Zombie level is this skull in a pot - not very nice, but I wanted to get them all. Plus, it's bought for shells! - a nice thing because I had lots of them...
...Generally, it's a bit of an improvement compared to "Fishdom 3", which had four extra trophies which could be put in any tank...
...However, in "Fishdom 3" the trophies weren't designed in any particular tank in mind and sometimes didn't suit any of them too well...
...This time, aquariums have their own trophies, designed for them and kept in the same style...
...Sometimes these are actually clever ideas - they don't look like classic trophy cups, but are very well suited to each aquarium's style...
...And now the strange thing: all tanks have their trophies... except this one! Really, the "Robinson Crusoe" tank is missing its trophy, none has been designed for it...
...After the spiralling costs of previous trophies, it was a relief to see that this one is, again, an item bought for shells. Generally, only a minority of objects and fish are like this.
There are two game modes
Fish and other items are bought in the store. Playing the hidden object games are one way to raise cash
The score is given after each hidden object game. There's also a bonus for not usingth ehint
Back in the aquarium. After buying and placing an item these stars appear, collect them by running the cursor over them
The game logs achievements and statistics
Fish need to be fed and the aquarium needs to be cleaned
Items in the store are locked until the player levels up
Whoopee! I have won an award and can now host more fish
