Snack Truck Fever

Snack Truck Fever is a puzzle game with snacks as a theme, playing as the chef of a food truck. The levels consist of boards with tiles that holds different items or ingredients. Matches are created by identifying patterns. Players draw lines with a finger to connect identical items in any direction as long as the next one is adjacent horizontally, vertically or diagonally, with at least three items in total, to remove them. The gameplay does not involve swapping items.

Levels have different types of goals and are unlocked one by one. Examples of goals are collecting a number of different items or ingredients with a limited amount of moves or creating snacks and beverages (coffee, tea, ice-cream, cake) through a number of items. These snacks than appear on the board and can be tapped to make them disappear, causing an explosion that can lead to chain reactions. Another type of level has the player collect specific items to deplete a meter, while matching the wrong ones fills it again and introduces items on the board that cannot be matched. Some levels have hidden items covered by ice that can only be removed by creating matches next to the ice tiles. Ice tiles often lock off parts of the board and need to be removed so the items can be spread out. Yet another type of level requires the player to bring down an item by creating matches below it, so it reaches the bottom of the board, with a limited amount of moves.

The level goals are similar to many match-three games such as Candy Crush Saga. The same goes for many other game elements. Up to three stars can be earned per level based on the performance, along with some cash. Remaining moves are converted into explosions on the board that provide additional points. Players can buy and use power-ups that help in difficult situations, such as a mitt to remove a single item, a sponge to clear an entire row, a spatula to swap two items, a knife that collects all items of the same kind on the board and removes them etc. The cash earned during games can be used to make 'boss levels' with the meter that needs to be depleted easier as money buys additional moves.

The game is free-to-play with an energy/stamina system with waiting times based on lives that are deducted for every failed level. Lives can be refilled with coins, the premium currency. Coins can also be used to get five additional moves at the end of a level, buy booster items and unlock roadblocks on the game map. Cash is bought with coins and coins are in-app purchases for real money. Game progress is saved across devices by connecting through a Facebook account.
