Description
Microzine Jr. is an educational disk-based magazine for students under age 10 published by Scholastic starting in 1988. Each issue generally contains a simple adventure game, often with a Choose Your Own Adventure Style. Issues also contain software to initialize a data disk, as well as letters to the editor. Issue no. 3 contains:* Fuzzy to Focused: Pictures gradually go from fuzzy to clear over several steps. The player tries to guess the picture at maximum fuzziness. There are 15 pictures in total.
- Going Dotty: A program to create and play connect-the-dot puzzles.
- Storybook Maker II: The Balloonatics: A Choose Your Own Adventure text game, where the player joins The Balloonatics on a hot air balloon adventure.
- The Great Frankfurter: Your Uncle is a stage magician going by the name of the Great Frankfurter. Tonight, he is putting on a special show with a famed TV producer Lisa Foofle in the audience. He has asked you to help him find and remember his props, tricks, or magic words, so that he can wow the audience tonight. After choosing the trick, props, and magic words, the player joins Foofle to watch the show.
