Desperados is a real-time tactics game similar to the Commandos series. Because the player characters are dying quickly in an open fight the goal is to dispatch the foes quietly, quickly and unseen. The player has several functions available to help him at this quest, e.g. he can blend in the view of the enemies to help planning his actions. Every character has special abilities, e.g. Cooper can throw his knife or Kate can seduce some enemies to entice them to a safe spot. A unique feature is the "quick-time" function where the player can programme a series of actions and trigger them by pressing one key.

The July 2018 update for the full game brought this mission to its digital releases.
