Gem Towers
Description
Gem Towers takes the well known match three puzzle style and gives it a three-dimensional spin. Thusly, instead of a flat plane the game board makes use of the X/Y/Z coordinates. These game boards vary in their dimensions somewhat, resulting in different playing fields such as cubic ones, flat ones or very tall ones. The game board can be rotated and zoomed in or out freely, though certain board layouts restrict this by quite a bit. The gem stones that make up the game board are shuffled randomly in shape and color, as well as the amount of different colors present for each board. Crafty players can make use of the full three dimensions to shift around gems from different layers than just the ones horizontally or vertically places around a certain gem. Each level requires players to fulfill a certain amount of cleared gems within an allotted time to move on to the next level. Failing to do so costs the player a life. Every few levels the player can try to score as many points possible in a very short bonus round free of penalization in any way. There are three difficulty selections to choose from.
