Description
Gunpoint is a stealth game where the player takes on the role of Richard Conway, a freelance spy. A mysterious assailant murders Selena Delgado at gunpoint as the spy is caught on security cameras while entering the premises. With the help of her former boss, Melanie Rooke, take on missions to help clear the spy's name and find Selena's murderer.To do this, Conway is equipped with Bullfrog hypertrousers, allowing him leap great distances and break through glass windows. Other gadgets are also made available to the player at the end of each paying mission, where the player may opt to purchase new equipment at the store and/or upgrade the Bullfrog hypertrousers. These new gadgets range from among others, rewiring electronics, a handgun, to an ability to kick down doors. These gadgets will help the spy silently break into buildings and hack through obstacles or stealthy defeat guards to complete the mission at hand.

Developer of Gunpoint, Tom Francis, claims that he recouped the direct costs of game development ($30 for a copy of GameMaker 8) in the first 64 seconds the game went on sale. In fact, he earned so much money from Gunpoint he quit his day job as a writer at PC Gamer.Windows Credits (7 people)
