Description

Masters of Sound is a point-and-click adventure set in a distant period of our future where music controls the universe.

In the year 103752 AD mankind has discovered that the structure of the universe is based on different sounds. The sound produced by an instrument can have the power to move objects without physical force or to travel through time and space. Music can even destroy whole planets, so it can be used as a weapon as well.

The Universal Guild of Music has perfected the abilities of playing music to influence the universe in a positive way. The pupils of the guild have to study long and must face tests in order to become masters. This is necessary to disallow evil persons from getting access to the guild.

The story of this adventure starts with a conference of the masters: Tritonus, who is a master of sound at the guild, has gone mad and wants to destroy the universe by using a gigantic weapon that he has constructed: The "Universal Tuning Fork". Only Knollo a young and for now not very successful music student is able to stop him with his "Horn of Resonance".

The game basically consists of three parts: Find the Horn of Resonance, that has been deposed in the holy temple of sound, learn the capacities of the horn and finally use it to find Tritonus and destroy his evil powers.
