Microzine Jr. #4
Description
Microzine Jr. is an educational disk-based magazine for students under age 10 published by Scholastic starting in 1988. Each issue generally contains a simple adventure game, often with a Choose Your Own Adventure Style. Issues also contain software to initialize a data disk, as well as letters to the editor. Issue no. 4 contains:* Eye Spy: Look at a picture of the beach and find the 10 things that don't belong.
- Jigsaw Puzzler: The player solves 3 different levels of jigsaw puzzle difficulty.
- Math Ani-Mall: The player can visit a number of animal-run stores, and must sell the correct number of items by selecting the proper packages from 2 piles.
- Zoostorm: The player receives a letter from Ms. Tiggles, the zookeeper at the Isle of Sunny Days. The island has been hit by a zoostorm, that has mixed up all the animals on the island, leaving their heads, bodies, and legs mixed up. The player must travel to different locations in the zoo to find the mixed up animals. These can then be brought to Ms. Tiggles office to be rearranged. The goal is to sort all animals and bring them back to the correct enclosure at the zoo.
