Mudlarks is a free 2D click-and-point adventure game. It features an inventory. The game can be controlled via mouse.

Story: The protagonist Winston and his friend Vincent live in London near the river Thames and are mudlarkers. A mudlarker is a person who searches for valuable things like ancient objects in the mud or shores of rivers.

During a mudlark session Vincent finds a golden locket. One day Winston and Vincent meet for another mudlark session. They meet near an exit to the shore of river Thames when Winston is receiving a phone call from his girlfriend. When Winston finishes the phone call Vincent is nowhere to be found. While searching for him on the shore he finds the locket, but no trace of Vincent.

When he wants to leave the shore he meets scientists who declare this part of the shore as a contaminated due a meteor shower a few days ago that caused freak tides in the Thames. Later on he also sees two female ghosts, but is unsure if that was a hallucination.

Winston is determined to find his missing friend Vincent that seems to be tied the finding of the golden locket.
