Waste of money

The Good
The fact i can drag race online...Well kinda. The game was alright the comunitty made it great.I loved the fact that i could strap myself into nitro burning TF or Fc and go at it. The competition was great. The theory behind the game was perfect with some flaws.

The Bad
Most everything.. The applet was junk from the get go. The company lied to us almost daily. The game is just a 20 dollar patch for nhra2 which was a 20 dollar patch for nhra1. I mean for example they said the applet was a work in process but it still is not fixed and it wont be ever. There were too many drivers views. Not enough info on the racepack program. To many ways to cheat. No way to stop guys from Dfr'ing(Dropped frame rate runs) They basically took a game NHRA 1 and polished it and gave us NHRA 2 basically same game. Then they polished it again and gave us Main event. Only thing main event was was a add on pack with Pro Stock cars and trucks. i prolly wouldnt have been as mad if they would have just advertised it as a expansion pack.

The Bottom Line
Save your money its not worth the hassle. The game is dead unless you intend to play offline. There were times that you could go into the applet and see over 100 guys online at anytime. Now when you go there your lucky to get 16. That should tell people something. If you want to throw your money away buy Main Event.

Great game poor Applet

The Good
Loved everything about the game. I have been a die hard drag racing fan for years. Glad to see they came out with a game that closely resesembles true life dragracing.

The Bad
1). Different drivers views for racing. ( Should only be one view when racing. From the drivers seat.)

2). The Applet ( The applet was good in the begnning but as more people started to play the game it became worse. The applet doesn't support large amounts of people.) The Applet was a poor choice for this game.

3). Too many cheats need to be fixed in this game. I am sure the programmers know which ones the racer are using to cheat to win.

4). Tuning screen could be alittle bit better. Don't like the sliders.

5). The programmers were on there way to making the best online sim game out there before running into trouble. Hope they can make a go of new game that they were about to release before running into trouble.

The Bottom Line
Great product just needs some work.

Compared to other PC drag racing games this one is the best..

The Good
this game has given me hours upon hours of quality fun with my friends online... no other PC drag racing game can compare to this one "as of yet" there are alotta bugs that need to be worked out with the online gaming, but for the price of this game you cant go wrong.

The Bad
All the various patches that where needed kinda put a damper on the game, also even with the patches the sound never does work right.. the biggest problem though has to be the online game applet... java applet is never gonna work "i dont think" if there where a better online gaming portion of this game that excluded the java applet, and had a way to fix the few cheats that certain people have found the game would be perfect... this is all just my opinion in my review... maybe other gamers will post theirs also..

The Bottom Line
I would describe this game as head to head, adrinalin pumpin, sim racing fun :-)
