The game ends when one of the players has reached a score of 40 points.
The Classic Pong variations are based off of the Pong: AY-3-8500, a popular Pong chip made by GI and used in several Pong consoles. In these variations, there's no Voice enhanced sound, the pads can only be moved vertically, the action button speeds up the pad movement and there are two ball speeds available: slow (pressing 1 during gameplay) and fast (pressing 2 during gameplay. In the two players Squash game the players must take turns while beating the ball. In all Classic Pong variations the game ends when the score reaches 15.
The Pong-Analog variations are based on the Pong: ES2201 style game, which was an early analog Pong game made by Philips, also called "Telespiel". In these games there are 6 ball speeds: pressing 1 decreases the speed and pressing 2 increases it. There is no score or time, and when the ball leaves the playfield it must be served with the action button.
