Quake III: Team Arena

The Good
The game features multiple new weapons, arenas and game types. The weapons are greatly designed, each with it's own ups and downs. Old favourites are brought back like the nailgun. The new gametypes are creative and fun, and will keep team players on for a while. The game, right at the start, boasts a new interface, with complete access to Quake 3 Arena original. New character models look great, and the new HUD is excellent. Even better is the new contact system(talking). It is now easier than ever.

New game types were created and designed awesomly, along with the many new maps. My favourite type is One Flag CTF. Single player is also very fun, and is not just a boring, run on game like Unreal Tournament.

The Bad
Since the game is based mainly on team play, not much extra maps for good old DM and 1v1. Still, good add on nevertheless.

The Bottom Line
In summary, Team Arena contains everything an add on should have, and has already sold millions of copies. If your into good teamplay, stop wasting your time with the Unreal games, get Quake 3 Arena & Team Arena to make your DM,TDM,1v1,CTF,OFCTF and more types the best they can be. I rate Q3TA 9/10
