Rode Kill: A Day in the Life
Description
Continuing the tradition of great adventure faring sanitation engineers, the game is the story of a regular guy Rodney Kill, just trying to get through another work day.
That's where you come in. You see, today happens to be the day when the starship crew gets to go on shore leave. Shore leave is a great thing involving not working and having fun. The problem is, Rode can't join his crew mates until he finishes his duties, and that's where it all starts...
Designed with the Adventure Game Studio engine, this game is a freeware point-and-click adventure game, which integrates Sierra's icon-based interface and LucasArts' verbs list.

Trivia
The game creator Shawn Guzzo wrote the history of the main character and the game creation:
*"Rodney Kill was created about, wow, ten years ago.
I created him for a story for English class in my first year of high school. This was at a time when adventure games were good and plentiful, and I loved them. My favorite being the Space Quest and Monkey Island series (I/E the space janitor thing). Anyways, I fell in love with the character and have been drawing him and writing stories about him since then, but I always wanted to create my own adventure game around him. The problem was that I had no way to do it, being too lazy to create a whole game engine by myself. Then came the Day of Chris. I discovered that a guy names Chris Jones had created an adventure game engine (AGS). And I guess that's where we are now. This game is my first."*
