Sissy's Magical Ponycorn Adventure
Description
Sissy’s Magical Ponycorn Adventure is a short adventure game created at the three-day Toronto Game Jam 2011. It is a collaboration between Ryan Creighton and his five-year-old daughter Cassie. She created all the pictures, came up with the NPCs, made the puzzles and did the voices. Her dad turned it into a flash game.
Players control the girl Sissy who loves ponycorns, a cross between ponies and unicorns. She does not have any however, and it is up to the player to collect five of them. Players can move Sissy around using the mouse and visit new areas through rainbows. Meeting characters such as OrangeBoy, an evil lemon, a tiger, a crazy dinosaur, and a turtle in distress, she needs to solve minor puzzles to get to the ponycorns.
All images are drawn with crayons and the characters have been cut out in order to have them move around and provide some animation. Everything is controlled through the mouse and an inventory is shown at the bottom.
